“Charlotte wished to unite her English heritage with her Australian wedding by combining embroidered British wildflowers and details from the Great Barrier Reef onto her veil - needless to say it was such a joy to design and create!”

“Jianna adores wildflowers and requested a bespoke veil covered in them! The finishing touches were the couples’ initials and wedding date subtly embroidered in the centre”

  • 1. DESIGN CONSULTATION

We begin by arranging a virtual design consultation. This is a complementary service that doesn’t commit you to anything but is a chance for us to get to know each other and discuss ideas for your veil. We touch on what you would be looking to spend so that following the call I can draw and send to you a selection of veil designs that are within your price range. These are to enable you to be able to make an informed decision as to whether you would like to proceed by placing an order at this stage.

  • 2. VEIL DESIGN

After the initial consultation I draw, and email to you, a variety of veil designs with prices shown, all of which are within your budget as discussed in the initial consultation. These are to show the scale and placement of the embroidery and the designs will be in line with the elements we discussed on our call. You may like one of the designs as it is, though I am more than happy to make any changes to any of the designs, or draw new ones, based on your preferences.

  • 3. EMBROIDERY DESIGN

After finalising your veil design, I draw the artwork for your detailed embroidery design and email this to you for your approval. As with the veil designs, I am more than happy to make any changes based on your feedback and preferences until it is exactly as you would like it.

  • 4. EMBROIDERY SAMPLES

One the embroidery design is finalised, I embroider samples of the embroidery design and post these to you along with your veil design. This is in order than you can have a clear idea of what your final veil will look like before I proceed with making and embroidering. Any requests for changes to the embroidery can be accomodated and if need further samples can be made at this stage. When you are totally happy with your embroidery samples, I then make, embroider and post your bespoke veil to you!

Pricing

“I love to design and make every bespoke veil in line with each bride’s unique requirements. In the initial consultation I ask what the bride would be looking to spend on her veil so that I can design veil sketches within her budget range. Should she wish to proceed, after finalising her veil design a 50% deposit is paid at this stage with the remaining 50% to be paid upon completion of her veil before it is posted to her. Prices vary hugely depending on complexity of design and quantity of embroidery. No two brides have the same ideas and budget which is why I offer the complementary design consultation - I discuss these with each bride on a personal basis. If a bride’s initial ideas aren’t possible to bring about within her budget, I have the fun opportunity to design creative alternatives for her (some brides even prefer these alternatives to their initial ideas!). I totally respect all brides choices, so if after the design consulation and the follow up designs a bride decides against placing an order - that’s absolutely fine, there are no hidden costs!”
